Party Hire

At The Preston we can accommodate all types of party events and we are particularly pleased to offer a private function room for this purpose. The spacious area will accommodate up to 40 people for banqueting and up to 60 for a standing buffet event. However, because the room can be divided into two distinct areas, smaller parties can still benefit from an intimate atmosphere.

With its lofty ceilings, oak floor & Victorian glass & mouldings, the private function room at The Preston provides a light and elegant backdrop for any special occasion; weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby naming, leaving do’s and homecoming celebrations; reasons for celebration are many and varied.

Our particular speciality at The Preston is in offering a personal service and a quality product across a range of competitive party menu options. Only using fresh and locally supplied produce, we always endeavour to accommodate our customers’ requirements. Our Chefs are always pleased to cater for all dietary requirements, just let us know when you book your party and we will be happy to offer suitable alternatives. Customers often ask if we would mind them bringing their own Celebration cake – we don’t mind at all and we will be pleased to present it at your table for you at the appropriate moment.

Many party organisers enjoy making their event unique by decorating the room in personalised colours and themes, you are welcome to come in before the event and do this.
